Haze Mist is a balanced sativa/indica cross between the original Northern Lights with the iconic Haze. There are also smatterings of genetics of other strains thrown into the mix to keep things interesting. The result of this pairing is a great hybrid strain that has a distinct and unique aroma and short flower time of only about 11 weeks on average. These seeds represent a tireless effort to produce plants that are stable and consistent with superior genetics.
Haze Mist is a huge producer with dense, thick buds with nice hard calyxes that produce mass quantities of delicious resin. That resin production increases in the last week or so of development so it's a good indicator of when the plants are actually finished and ready for harvesting.
Haze Mist begins branching at the bottom, growing long lateral branches that yield numerous abundant bud sites. Indoors, they will need a good bit of vertical space - trimming the lateral branches is not recommended as this will sacrifice a considerable amount of its final yield. Distance between internodes on these plants can be as much as 25 cm. This alone contributes much to the size of the plants.
As for that signature smell: look for notes of sandalwood, incense, berries and musk. One will find that the flavour compliments the smell nicely with a distinct burnt wood undertone.
These plants prefer a steady flow of nutrients and a pH-balanced substrate. They perform particularly well in hydro setups but can be grown successfully both indoors as well as out.
Let Haze Mist fully ripen before harvesting - the plants will tell the grower when they're ready and it is well worth the wait. The final week is crucial for maximising the flavour and the particularly trippy, full-body high it delivers.
