What’s so good about regular seeds?
With so many awesome varieties of feminised strains available right here at The Vault, you might wonder why we still make a point of providing regular seeds…
You see, many advanced collectors prefer regular seeds because of the additional freedom it gives them: Not everyone wants, or needs an all-female crop: And sometimes the old ways are the best…
What are regular seeds?
When male and female plants reproduce, the resulting seeds will comprise a 50/50 mix of male and female genetics. The big benefit of having a mixture like this is that it then leaves your options open: For instance, you could potentially…
• Choose to separate the males from the females
• Create sweet clones
• Produce feminised strains from the resulting females
• Try your hand at creating bold new crosses
• And much, much, more, thanks to the versatility of nature’s miracle herb!
Regular seeds open up a whole new world of potential to the avid collector, which simply would not be possible with all-feminised varieties.
Regular seeds are rewarding, but definitely not for beginners
For more advanced seed collecting aficionados, the ease and convenience of feminised seeds might not always be such a good thing. Yes, it might remove the hard work of separating males from females, but it also limits how much experimentation, exploration – and just plain good old-fashioned fun – can be had from the fine art of cannabis seed cultivation.
Return to nature with The Vault’s regular seeds
Whilst we now live in an age where cannabis genetics are evolving at a breakneck pace, we must remember that without regular seeds, none of the high-tech feminised strains would be possible: The fact is, Cannabis is a naturally-occurring plant – always has been – and in the end, regular seeds are an essential part of maintaining a strong, healthy and diverse pool of genetics for future generations to enjoy.
Please remember that the growing of cannabis plants and the cultivation of seeds is illegal in some countries. Please check the laws of your country and don’t be growing any plants if it is against your country’s laws.
