This particular strain certainly has plenty of weight, speed and hashy undertones. It was born of the already very popular strain California Orange Bud and was cross bred with a high quality Afghani hash strain. California Orange Bud is not to be confused with other strains often referred to as Orange Bud because of their dense orange hairs. California Orange Bud is really something extremely special. They are usually grown in America's West Coast and have been for many years as the climate is almost completely perfect for cannabis cultivation. The resulting hybrid of these strains is solid, quick, compact, and brings the California strains racing back to the Indica family. This strain has a fruity aroma, as so heavily featured by the original California Orange, and a strong, zesty, taste which has been said to linger delightfully on the tongue. This is a truly outstanding creation by the breeders at Sensi Seeds.
This strain, like many of Sensi Seeds finer strains, has been left genetically untouched as nature intended. By this I simply mean that they are sold as regular seeds. Regular seeds are being somewhat pushed out of the market as of late although they are still extremely popular amongst many old school growers and breeders. They produce a roughly even split of male to female seeds, although occasionally they can produce a 60/40 split in favour of the females. There are many reasons why breeders still use regular seeds. Primarily the fact that they make breeding new seeds a far more simple and controllable endeavour. A breeder can observe their crop carefully and select the two most impressive specimens to be the parents of the next crop. This method ensures that the breeder has maximum control over their crops and that very little is left to chance. It could also be said that the regular plants are considerably hardier that those that have been genetically altered in order to appear more user friendly. Many people who attempt to reintroduce cannabis into the wild will use regular seeds as they can thrive and breed of their own accord, without needing a huge amount of care and attention.
This strain prospers best in a temperate/continental climate and enjoys an extremely short flowering period of just 45 - 50 days. It is 35% Sativa and 65% Indica as well as having an extremely high yield and being a compact strain, excellent for stealth growing or those with limited crop space.
Please remember that the growing of cannabis plants and the cultivation of seeds is illegal in some countries - please check the laws of your country and don't be growing any plants if it is against your country's laws
