Sensi Seeds was born from a merging of two large breeding plant collections in the early 90s. To celebrate the creation of this incredible seed bank they released a plethora of new and exciting strains. Amongst these strains was Shiva Shanti, and extremely powerful and potent Indica strain which is easy to grow, highly affordable, and extremely rewarding. This hybrid was born from an old Afghani strain named Garlic Bud reinforced by another extremely popular and old-school strain of the Kush variety, as well as a good amount of Skunk genes. This is a strain for the people in many ways as it is powerful, uniform, high quality, large, inexpensive, and produces hardly any odour when it is growing. Shiva Shanti flowers very quickly, gives extremely impressive heavy yields, the effect is strong, deep, and relaxing. This strain is a perfect example of Sensi caring a great deal about their customers as it is very affordable without sacrificing quality, it is also extremely simple to grow and will highly reward even the most inexperienced grower.
Like many Sensi Seeds strains Shiva Shanti is sold in the form of regular seeds. Regular seeds are most popular amongst old school breeders who wish to cultivate new crops with minimal nonsense. Breeding using two female plants can be marginally more effective but it is an extremely complex and difficult process which can be easily botched. Regular seeds grow into a roughly even split of male and female plants which gives the breeder plenty of options when considering the parents of their next crop. Choosing parent plants is extremely difficult but with plenty of choices the breeder can select the two most impressive plants to carry on their genetic line. In the long term this results in increasingly more impressive crops which become higher in quality throughout the generations. Many growers prefer regular seeds as well since they have a level of simplicity which is unrivalled by their genetically altered cousins. In fact whenever there have been plans to reintroduce cannabis into the wild regular seeds have been used as they can really make it on their own if necessary.
This strain prefers a sunny or Mediterranean environment where it can receive plenty of sunlight. Shiva Shanti has a short flowering period of just 50 - 55 days as well as being 85% Indica and a compact plant with a heavy yield.
Please remember that the growing of cannabis plants and the cultivation of seeds is illegal in some countries - please check the laws of your country and don't be growing any plants if it is against your country's laws
