Sweet Coffee Ryder is a strain created by crossing Colombian Gold with a plant containing Ruderalis genes. Colombian Gold is a blend of sativa strains from Colombia. This cross exemplifies Cannabis Ruderalis, which has been continuously bred to develop a strain with Indica characteristics and the autoflowering traits of Ruderalis.
Despite the Colombian mother being mainly sativa, Sweet Coffee Ryder displays more hybrid characteristics, although its flowering cycle is longer than typical indica strains. It can grow to a height of 40 to 120cm and has a prominent central bud with several sizeable lateral branches.
Since flowering is not dependent on the photoperiod, Sweet Coffee Ryder can be cultivated at any time of the year. However, yields are better in optimal environmental conditions. For outdoor cultivation, a useful tip is to start planting when the weather improves and repeat a few days before harvesting the first crop to achieve two harvests per year. Some growers attempt more, but these crops tend to be less productive due to less favorable conditions.
For indoor cultivation, World of Seeds recommends a 20/4 light/dark cycle throughout.
