White Widow was the original “white” strain and is still a world favourite. This strain was first available at Dutch Coffee shops in 1994 and has been the staple strain ever since.
This strain is a balance of indica and sativa with a little more indica. This is likely why its effect is so intense and immediate, before slowly releasing into a delightful full body relaxation with a nice mental high.
This strain will always give great yields and is extremely versatile, however it does usually prefer warmer climates.
This strain is feminised and will only grow into female plants. Feminised seeds were created to make life easier for growers, who usually don’t need the male plants for breeding.
For these growers, the males are a nuisance as well as a waste of time and money. Most growers will just bin the male plants during the flowering period.
Feminised seeds only save a lot of valuable resources, but tend to be higher in quality and uniformity than regular plants. For this reason, some breeders also prefer to use them, despite the increased difficulty that comes with feminised breeding.
This strain can be grown indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse and has a flowering time of 50 – 65 days.
