This plant is extremely potent as well as being a vigorous grower with high resin production. Sweet Seeds calls it "one of the most outstanding varieties of the Sweet Seeds catalogue".
This is an unusually fast flowering strain which makes it perfect for those who may experience slightly shorter winters. This Indica/Sativa cross has a very high rate of bud production, it creates one primary bud along with a plethora of secondary buds which bloom on the peripheral branches.
Big Foot is also, as previously mentioned, a vigorous resin producer. The buds are tight and compact, but they still produce an inordinate amount of resin which is has a delightfully strong scent.
The effect of this strain can vary between the euphoric and the purely relaxing and has a sweet-citrus, almost spicy, aroma. The fast flowering aspect of the plant means that it is also extremely resistant to mould.
Feminised seeds are seeds which have been altered so that they will only grow into female plants. This became extremely popular very quickly since so many growers, who have no need for them, have to deal with male plants invading their crops.
The only use for the male plant is the pollen that he produces, this pollen is used to fertilise the females in order to create seeds. This is, however, still possible using only female plants. It is an extremely difficult process that should only be attempted by experienced breeders.
For those who have no interest in cultivating their own crops feminised seeds are a must as not only do they remove the pesky male plants, but they have also been reported to have a higher level of uniformity and quality making it all together a more reliant strain.
They also save a considerable amount of time, space and money. A grower no longer has to purchase twice as many seeds as the desired number of productive female plants. This also takes care of the need to remove male plants are the start of flowering.
Big Foot is a very accessible strain which can be grown either indoors or outdoors. Its indoor yield is roughly 500 - 650 g/m2, if grown outdoors it should be harvested mid/late September, and its flowering time is an amazingly short 7 weeks.
Another absolute triumph by the breeders at Sweet Seeds.
