Baked Bomb is a medium-sized, indica-dominant strain. It was bred by crossing the US strain Wedding Cake with Bomb Seeds' own Cherry Bomb, before the result was crossed back to the Wedding Cake. Growers will see good yields of very resinous, high-THC buds.
Baked Bomb grows in a Christmas tree shape with the broad, dark green leaves typical of indica plants. The main stem is thick and strong and the side-branches are also strong enough to support the weight of its dense buds without any support. When grown indoors, plants are compact at about 90 cm. tall producing yields of 500 - 600 gr/m2 in an 8 - 10 week flowering period.
Outdoors, plants grow taller at 130 cm. or thereabouts with northern hemisphere harvests due in early October. The conical buds are very dense and resin production is high, with trichomes covering the upper shade leaves. These plants are so dense that the leaves will need to be thinned-out and/or the branches opened up with some training to allow better air and light access to the plants' interiors.
Flavours are sweet and fruity; candy and vanilla upon inhalation with cherry and tropical fruits dancing on the tongue. THC production is high at 19 - 22%. The first effect is very cerebral and 'high' with continued consumption leading to more of a physically relaxing, 'couch-lock' feeling and is actually something of a creeper.
