Somango Widow is a combination of the breeder's own Early Widow (a fast-finishing strain that's heavy with the popular White genetic profile) and the delicious Somango with its mango-sweet aroma and flavour. The Somango genetics give this strain its wonderful flavour while the White genetics bring heavy resin production and a super-potent end product.
Somango Widow is a voluminous plant and it makes that fact known very early in its vegetative stage. The plants exhibit very short distances between internodes and their abundance of lateral branches are very tenuous (and they really need to be to accommodate the mass numbers of buds they produce).7
The aroma is elegant and smooth, not at all harsh. Leave the water bottle on the table and simply savour the sweetness as it fills the head and delivers a powerful, long-lasting stone coupled with a distinctly sativa full-body high. THC content is about high on average - not the highest out there for an indica but certainly stronger than average. CBD is conversely low at levels of only 0.2% on average.
The size of Somango Widow makes them perfect for growing either indoors or out. Indoor growers will experience good results no matter what growing method is used. These plants take well to both soil and hydro and require minimal additional care to grow and produce in abundance. SOG and ScrOG growers in particular will quickly come to appreciate how well this strain acclimates to those types of setups.
Somango Widow is also an early-flowering strain that can be harvested outdoors as early as mid to late September. Harvesting can continue into October if there is no immediate threat of frost. This is a great strain for novice growers and brand new first-timers, as well as for anyone who just wants a nice, easy strain to work with.
