First time growing cannabis? This is a great strain for a first attempt!
Chocolate Heaven is a mostly-sativa hybrid that grows well in all kinds of setups, both indoors as well as out and is a respectable producer yielding an average of 450 g per square metre or better of great quality bud. It is the product of crossing two excellent strains: Afghan and Cannaloupe. The exact THC and CBD content is unknown but the effect is reported to be almost immediate and very uplifting.
Indoor growers will find that these plants work in almost any setup but will require some pruning to thrive well in SOG or ScrOG setups. They will grow fine but will take some effort. Soil setups are much easier to manage especially since some plants are capable of growing more than 5 feet (150 cm) tall and can be somewhat branchy. Total indoor flowering time is approximately 65 days. Leaving them to grow a bit longer will enhance the quality and effect.
Outdoors, Chocolate Heaven is typically ready to harvest by the first week of October in the Northern hemisphere and can go longer in milder climates. Plant them early and give them plenty of summer sunshine for best quality and highest yields. The plants themselves are very stretchy and present with huge, heavy, dense nugs that practically drip with a potent and fragrant resin.
The name comes from the curious chocolatey quality of the aroma - if you like bitter dark chocolate with lots of cocoa you will be amazed at how this strain mimics it and blends it with the fruity goodness of the Cannaloupe. The flavour is a bit of a contrast to the smell. No, it doesn't particularly taste like chocolate but it does compliment the aroma nicely.
