Big Bang Feminised Seeds are a combination of Skunk, Northern Light and El Niño produced by Green House Seeds Co. which was awarded 3rd place at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2000.
The strain is a mix of Swiss Sativa and Swiss Indica and is a potent medicinal strain that is sold legitimately in Dutch pharmacies. This strain is extremely popular due to its potent yield and relatively stress free growing period.
Due to the fact this strain is very much Indica dominated the plant has inherited the recognisable squat and bushy shape.
The branches are more likely to spread out rather than up which is useful as a strong support is needed for the heavy branches of resin-packed trichomes it will produce.
Light pruning will be required to allow air and light to the inner and lower branches if the plant is given total freedom to grow. In the end a plan of up to 5 foot can be produced, however with absolutely no root restriction sizes of up to 7 foot have been recorded.
As the name suggests this strain's high comes on very quickly and with strength yet all of this occurs in a very smooth manner with the very intense and sweet flavours of apple and rose.
The end result is an extremely soothing and relaxing stone which is long-lasting, that can help release tension in the body. Due to this it is unsurprising to learn that this strain has been very effective in its medicinal use, particularly in Holland.
The strain works well as a muscle relaxant and has been used to treat sufferers of numerous muscular disorders.
This plant is extremely versatile and durable, with very good mould resistance and can be grown either indoors or outside. If grown inside the plant will yield optimally at around 9 weeks giving around 800g per square metre and is ideally suited on SCRoG systems.
Outside of the house the plant will be ready to harvest at the end of September in the Northern Hemisphere or Mid May in the South and will yield up to 1000g per plant.
Please remember that the growing of cannabis plants and the cultivation of seeds is illegal in some countries - please check the laws of your country and don't be growing any plants if it is against your country's laws.
