After being voted Best Strain at the 2005 Green House V.I.S Smoking Panel, Arjan moved quickly and introduced Strawberry Haze to the market the year after. This strain is considered to be relatively easy to grow and produces a strong and versatile plant quite quickly.
In a small container one can expect it to reach heights of around 3 feet whilst for those with more space available results of up to 10 feet have been achieved when the plant is given absolute freedom to grow. It is also worth noting that this strain tends to grow straight up towards the light, dissimilar to other more stocky Saliva's, allowing for more plants to be placed closer together which would allow the opportunity for a larger crop to be grown.
As the name would suggest the plant has an aroma of strawberries, with undertones of other red berries, and it has a sweeter taste in comparison to most Sativa strains. However, in order to extract the optimum quality of taste and smell it is recommended that you place the plants in soil as opposed to a hydro grow. Strawberry Haze has been known to be sensitive to over feeding therefore one should err on the side of caution when considering the amount of nutrients to feed the plant.
This strain produces a cerebral and sometimes giggly high and is enjoyable for those who seek a quiet, introspective high as well as a more communal and creative experience. If growing indoors one can expect the plant to flower at around the 10 week mark producing tall and long branches with round, full buds. For an outdoor grow the crop will yield best during the second week of October in the Northern Hemisphere and is suited to most climates.
Please remember that the growing of cannabis plants and the cultivation of seeds is illegal in some countries - please check the laws of your country and don't be growing any plants if it is against your country's laws.
