A while back, the breeders at Delicious Seeds took on a challenge in their growrooms. Their goal was to create a cannabis plant that produced large yields without compromising on taste. They combined the sweet flavors of Caramelo with the delicate floral notes of South African Sativas like Power Plant. The result is a Sativa plant that is easy to manage and produces big, foxtail buds. As it nears the end of its flowering cycle, the leaves take on a lavender hue. Outdoors, the plant branches out a lot, with lower branches almost reaching the same height as the plant itself. This strain is easy to trim due to the small amount of leaves between the buds. It has a strong citrusy aroma, reminiscent of grapefruit or lime. The taste is very sweet with hints of skunk and cedarwood, giving it an earthy and citrusy flavor. The euphoric effect is very powerful, mostly cerebral with a barely noticeable effect on the body. It kicks in quickly and lasts a long time. Some growers have reported difficulty sleeping after smoking Delicious Cotton Candy Kush (DS19).
