Barney's Farm Critical Kush may be a new kid on the block, but it is definitely making a name for itself. By combining two stable and popular indica strains, OG Kush and Critical Mass, the team at Barney's Farm have created a respectable strain.
Indoor growers are sure to appreciate working with Critical Kush. It is easy to deal with and exceptionally productive.
As it grows, the plant takes on the look of a classic indica: short and stout with a large number of branches. Mature plants can grow to be up to 3 feet high. It is recommended to crop plants that grow taller as this will increase the yield.
The flowering time is standard for a classic indica as well: about 9 weeks on average.
The plants grown from these seeds are extremely consistent and predictable and its yields put most other indicas to shame thanks to its critical mass genes pushing things along.
For stronger lateral branching, consider bending the tops. These plants produce such hardy buds they will benefit from anything growers do to help the branches support them.
When fully mature, the buds swell and get very hard. The plant loses nearly all of its flowers and has few waste leaves. This allows for a simple harvest with a minimum of effort.
The buds get plenty of light owing to the low leaf-to-bud ratio and the buds are literally coated with sticky, crystal resin with levels of THC that are high for an indica, but still provide a mellow traditional indica experience.
Critical Kush can be grown outdoors but it is recommended primarily for indoor growers. When grown indoors, growers are virtually guaranteed a good 70 grams/ sq. metre and its compact size also makes it an attractive strain for growers with limited space.
Please remember that the growing of cannabis plants and the cultivation of seeds is illegal in some countries - please check the laws of your country and don't be growing any plants if it is against your country's laws.
