The Red River Delta strain that makes up a part of Ayahuasca were given to Barneys Farm as a gift a number of years back. Red River Delta is a seriously beautiful plant that produces soft red and purple flowers as it matures. Combined with the Master Kush it created a truly special strain. It has a short, heavy set structure with wide fan like leaves which will be covered in thick, resin coated buds.
The scent is a rich one of tropical fruit and hazelnut. The effect is delicate, soft, relaxing and immensely satisfying. Ideal for a lazy evening in or even for those who tend to suffer from anxiety or stress related illnesses.
Ayahuasca is a feminised strain which means that it will grow into exclusively female plants. Feminised plants are often popular amongst growers who have no need for the male plants. The males would usually have to be removed during the growing process which is a waste of time, effort and money. Feminised seeds also tend to be of a generally higher quality and show better crop uniformity. Feminised seeds can also be used by breeders, but are really just for the experts. It is possible to stress a female plant in such a way that she produces feminised pollen. This pollen can then be used with another female plant.
This strain has a flowering time of just 50 days and is best grown indoors.
