The original Afghan Skunk combined the pure indica hit of the Afghani plant with Skunk's more sativa-leaning effect.
This strain was made up of 70% indica and 30% sativa.
The addition of the ruderalis genes reduced the life-cycle time to 9 - 10 weeks and resulted in shorter plants whose energy went into bud and resin synthesis sooner than in photoperiod strains.
It is a hardy plant that is resistant to both plant pests and mould infections.
When grown inside, these plants can reach heights of 75-100 cm; when grown outdoors, they can reach heights of up to 120 cm.
Yields are good, with indoor producers able to harvest 400-500 gr/m2 under 600 watt lighting.
Resin production is very high, resulting in a scent similar to the sweet smell of hashish.
The flavour features berry and other fruit undertones, making this a wonderfully tasty strain.
