You may have noticed that there have been a lot of changes going on at The Vault Cannabis Seeds Store for the last 6-8 months?  We realised that our website was getting slow, way too slow, it was originally built in 2012 and wasn’t designed for the huge volumes of daily traffic we now receive!  We do apologise for any disruption over the last few months but things are settling down again now.  To some degree we had become a victim of our own popularity, but that’s a good thing really!  Thanks #TEAMVAULT

 

So we decided it was time to upgrade the website, so in true Vault fashion, we went ahead and upgraded everything!  Our tech guys have been tirelessly working in the background since Jan 2019 and we carried out a soft launch about 3 months ago.

 

We have completely rebuilt the entire Vault Cannabis Seeds Store website on fresh, modern technology and moved onto our very own, high speed, dedicated servers with built in added protection for us and our customers via Cloudflare and other security systems which helps improve speed, content delivery and website security.

 

We have also re-introduced safe and secure international credit card processing for USA, Canada and New Zealand and of course continue to accept card payments within the UK and Europe so you can buy your cannabis seeds with credit card.  We are working on rolling this out even further soon too!

If you haven’t been on The Vault website recently then you will notice a massive boost to our speed first and foremost.  We have also redesigned our blog – cannabis seeds news to make it easier to browse and find the most recent posts especially our legendary cannabis seeds competitions and promos which just keep on getting better and better.

Unfortunately we were unable to port over the old accounts so you will need to re-register and set up your account again if you want to be able to track order history, re-order quickly, and get access to other benefits coming soon such as loyalty points for discounts.  You can do this from the register button on the top of the website or when checking out.  If you prefer anonymity you can still of course check out as a guest.

 

We are now entering the final phase of the website reboot, we are currently working on improving the site speed even further, we will not rest until we have the fastest cannabis seeds website in the industry!

 

We are also now polishing off some of the features on the website as well as making further aesthetic changes.  One of the final elements we are aiming to complete before the end of this year is further improvements to our mobile platform as well as other devices like iPads, kindles etc. to make it easier to shop for your cannabis seeds on the go.

    1. Thanks buddy. Mostly the ability to accept credit cards outside of Europe is outside of our control, we keep up with all the legalities to protect us and our customers so its tough, but we are so happy to be able to offer it again and save on those bank fees!

  7. Looks good, but I would like to see an advanced search feature that you can select other qualifiers. IE: Search for Amnesia Haze, then be able to adjust by settings like Fem/Reg, Auto/Reg, etc.

    Also, the site’s Show/Hide for out of stock seems to still be broken.

    1. Hi Buddy the advanced search feature is being worked on, its fairly complex behind the scenes on this one as we need to get all the data into a new consistent approach in order for this to work properly but we are edging closer

      I checked the show / hide for out of stock on the desktop and mobile (iPhone) and both worked perfectly…..can you recreate this issue, are you on a specific device?

      If you want to send me some more info on this break to [email protected] ill investigate and fix but for me it looks like it works as it should?

    I like how easy your site is to navigate, and now that CC is back it makes it easier to get an account up and start a new wishlist for future needs. Does the vault still price match?

  22. The Choose your Currency option is easy to find and the seeds are well organized – I like that. I also like The Vault’s single seed option for times when space or money is tight. The blog is a great place for finding community, the latest news and info on the newest strains… … … as well as chances at free seeds & swag.

    I have only one request, would there be any way to add PayPal to the site?

      PayPal is a pain, 1. they dont want to work in our industry and 2. scammers do chargebacks through it, so whilst its easy, its not a good business solution for our industry unfortunately

  30. Honestly the website performance was the one thing I would’ve said needed work, so kudos to you all for recognizing what needed work and acting on it. Far too often are companies too slow to identify weaknesses and act on those findings.

    Now there’s nothing stopping you from taking over the world!
