If you are like me you enjoy a little bit of full-on trash TV. There are just a few reality TV shows that get me extremely riled up and overexcited. If you can find a group of people who enjoy it as much as you then nothing spices up screaming at the ridiculous and obviously scripted drama like a little J. Reality TV has become more and more popular during the pandemic. There is something about watching people act like idiots, flirting with each other and actually just being in a space together without masks is very cathartic. So these are some of the best strains for just hanging out and watching some extremely stupid television.

This magnificently fun time was created by crossing Triangle Kush and Animal Mints. Bride Cake is a wonderful choice for watching something exciting, I’d recommend the U.S. version of The Circle it is entrancing. Anyway, she is cerebral and stimulating while also being physically relaxing. Grab some snacks, some snuggly clothes, hit the couch with a buddy and get ready to enjoy some twists, some judgement and some plain weirdness. Bride Cake is Indica dominant so don’t go overboard or you may end up stuck to the couch. She has a flowering time of 65 – 70 days from seed and can be grown indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse.
This little lady doesn’t just have a fancy name, she is one of the most exciting strains on the market. Her effect is a combination of euphoria, happiness, and relaxation with dashes of calm and comfort. If you have a group that likes to watch something weekly all together this is the strain. Especially if you are having a viewing party for a finale or anything similar. This strain will lift the mood in the room while also enhancing your viewing pleasure. It has the smell and taste of tropical fruit and an impressive THC level of 21%. Another one you might not want to overdo in case you end up not remembering what happened in your show. She is also a great medicinal strain and can be used to reduce the symptoms of anxiety, depression, appetite loss, stress, pain, or inflammation. She will grow well indoors or outdoors and has a flowering time of 56 – 63 days.
To follow a fun strain let’s have…another fun strain! I just think these boys are the best for watching reality TV as the fun lies in getting excited about what’s going on. Blue Magic is happy, relaxing and uplifting with a touch of full-bodied euphoria. She is often recommended for treating pain, depression and stress. If you had planned to watch with friends but aren’t sure if you’re feeling up to it then this is the medicine you need. Blue Magic was created by crossing Headband and Green Magic, two very popular strains. The scent is extremely strong so you might need to crack a window, but she is a delicious and smooth smoke. Again she has a THC level of 21% so take it easy. She has a flowering time of 63 days and professionals suggest leaving her in the vegetative stage for a little longer than normal. Again, if you’ve had a long day and you just want to relax on the couch, Purple Punch is perfect. She has a THC level of 18% so she isn’t insanely strong, but definitely strong enough. She was created by crossing Purple Punch and Critical Auto. This means it contains genetics from Grandaddy Purple, Larry OG, Skunk #1 and Big Bud. This strain has the flavour of apple pie and smells just as amazing. She has a flowering time of 50 – 60 days from seed and can be grown indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse.
