As we all scuttle through that weird weather period between spring and summer we start to get colds. Nothin debilitating or particularly awful of course. Just those horrible little sicknesses that block your ears and your nose, scratch up your throat and make you feel like you’ve been frozen then improperly microwaved. Unfortunately, when it comes to this kind of sniffle it can be hard to justify taking a day off. Even if you manage to get the day off work you probably still have nonsense to do around the house, things to get finished for deadlines, or maybe you just don’t want to feel like rubbish all day. These are a few strains that can help us either bolster our energy or just rest without feeling quite so sorry for ourselves.

Blue Dream’matic

This little lady is a member of the Blue Dream family but is an automatic flowering strain. Generally, this will make her easier to grow and reduce the size of the plant. The reason that she is on this list is her effect which is ideal for anyone who is just feeling pretty crap. She is uplifting, relaxing, powerful and cerebral. She is also a celebrated medicinal strain that is often recommended to those suffering from cancer, epilepsy, migraines, Multiple Sclerosis, stress, period pain and a variety of other issues. Basically, Blue Dream’matic is perfect for covering all of the bases. She can ease headaches, reduce nausea, and help with general aches and pains. Her THC level usually sits at an impressive 20% with a medium CBD of 1 – 5%. Blue Dream’matic has a flowering time of 9 – 11 weeks and can be grown indoors or outdoors.

Hurkle

For anyone who is sick and has a day off Hurkle is definitely a good call. It is a calming strain with a head and body effect. It also has a delicious scent and flavour of coffee and chocolate with a slight hint of fruit. As a medicinal strain, it is usually used by those who suffer from Arthritis, PTSD, epilepsy, or cancer. As it is high in CBD and low in THC is also a good strain for anyone who needs to be a little more active. It has a flowering time of 58 – 62 days and can be grown indoors or outdoors.

CBD Critical Mass

CBD Critical Mass is a fantastic medicinal strain that is perfect for anyone who gets terrible headaches when they are poorly. If you are the type that gets really down when they are ill this is a great strain. She has an uplifting and happy effect while still giving a relaxed and calm vibe. Now you can improve your mood and just chill while still enjoying your day playing video games or watching a favourite film with a snack.
