She is pretty powerful with a THC level of 24% so if you do have things to get done probably go easy. Chemdawg is also an award winner and took second place at the 2008 IC420 Cup. This is a great strain for energy, for those days where you really wish you had just stuck to that one pint. If you have things to get done and you just don’t have the energy then Super Silver Haze is the perfect strain. The high isn’t anxious and jittery but rather uplifting and relaxed in its euphoric energy. It is also extremely creative and happy so great if you drunkenly made brunch plans that you just can’t face in the morning. Super Silver Haze took 1st place at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 1997, 1998 and 1999. Medicinally she is usually recommended for pain, depression and stress. Her THC level is 25% so she packs a punch and may not be ideal for beginners. She has a flowering time of 63 days and will grow well indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse.

I know that if I am made to talk to people when I’m hungover I feel like I may literally explode with anxiety. Sour Lemon OG also helps calm the brain down while stimulating it, if that makes sense. She is often recommended for those who suffer from anxiety disorders or chronic stress. It is Sativa dominant but a well-balanced strain so it won’t push too far in either direction. She is also a ridiculously vigorous grower and produces fantastic yields. In order to get these yields, she does need to grow for 10 – 11 weeks, but those buds are worth the wait. She will grow well indoors or outdoors.
As the name suggests this strain is a massive source of energy and is great for days where you just have to get things done. Green Crack is cerebral and stimulating so perfect for any activity whether you’re writing your dissertation or just doing chores around the house. She is medium-strong with a THC level of 19 – 20%. She produces a sharp focus that will cut through the hangover fog easily. She also has a mouth-wateringly smooth and citrusy flavour with a sweet aftertaste. She was created by combining Skunk #1 and Afghani which you can see in the effect and the amazing yields. She produces massive amounts of dense buds that are saturated with glittering resin. She takes around 58 – 65 days to flower and can be grown indoors or outdoors.
This is probably the most widely recommended strain for sorting out a hangover. The effect is long-lasting and uplifting with a lovely pain relief that is perfect for headaches. She is ideal for hangover depression as well as any discomfort or headaches you may be dealing with. Acapulco Gold is also an award winner and took 1st place at the Sativa Cup in 2010. The flavour is light and fruity which is great for a nauseous stomach. She is pretty strong at 21% THC which makes her great for any kind of hangover day. If you need to get up and do things, no worries. If you want to lie in bed and eat pizza and nap, perfect. She has a flowering time of 60 – 70 days and can be grown indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse.
