Teas are a great way to imbibe cannabis whether it be for the psychoactive properties or for some calming CBD. If we like there are ways to make tea ourselves. However, it does take quite a bit of time and you would likely spend quite a lot of money to make the same amount from fresh weed. There are quite a few companies that sell tea online so that anyone who just needs a little chill out before bed or even something to perk them up in the morning can get it with minimum fuss. These are a few of the top-rated cannabis teas on the market currently.

Why?

First let’s have a quick look at what cannabis tea can do for you and your body/mind. Cannabis has been infused into tea for hundreds and thousands of years and was usually used in rituals or for medicinal purposes. The medicinal uses of cannabis tea have been widely noted, especially in those that are CBD heavy. They can be used to reduce pain, nausea, depression, anxiety, and even immunity issues. It can be excellent for colds and flus whilst also being effective against morning sickness. Obviously pregnant women should only use CBD teas and should check with a doctor first. Indian culture claims that cannabis tea can actually be used to ward off evil spirits and disease. Obviously, tea with a lot of THC can also get you quite high. So basically there are umpteen uses for cannabis teas.

Positivi-Tea by Kikoko

This tea was created as a healthy alternative to edibles. It’s extremely uplifting and perfect for improving mood, going on adventures, socialising, creativity, camping, pretty much anything you can think of. This THC tea is quite strong and is not recommended for novices. They say that a first-timer should try one cup and wait 90 minutes. Obviously don’t operate a vehicle or anything like that and definitely don’t mix it with alcohol. The company is fun, young and ethically sustainable. This particular tea is mint and green tea which is absolutely delicious and as well as getting you high it is full of natural ingredients. This is definitely up at the top of my list of cannabis teas.

Buddha Teas

This UK company creates calming and relaxing CBD teas that are wholesome, delicious and healthy. They are also delicious and have 5mg of CBD in each bag. They love using fresh ingredients and a wide variety of herbs to create delicious soothing infusions. This is the perfect drink at the end of a long day, maybe in a nice warm bath. There are a variety of CBD infusions available from the website. Personally, I’m a huge fan of the peppermint and the turmeric ginger infusions, but I’m sure they are all good. If you want something tasty, relaxing, and eco-friendly then Buddha Teas are a great shout.

Subtle Tea

Subtle Tea isn’t just an adorable name, but a really interesting company. They create cold infusion CBD and THC teas. Their teas come in a wide range from 5mg CBD and THC to 10 mg THC and all the way up to 25mg CBD. They come in a few delicious flavours and are refreshing as well as relaxing. They are great for mood issues, stress, anxiety and a range of day to day problems. The teas are vegan, have no sugar in them and are specially made to help your body and your endocannabinoid system stay on top form.

Wesley Tea Company

These guys have everything a cannabis tea lover could need. They sell combinations of CBD and THC, just CBD and just THC strains. Of course, the CBD teas are for soothing, the combination teas for balance and the THC for uplifting. All of their teas are carefully portion controlled, have active ingredients and are thoroughly lab tested before being put onto the market. They even sell a sparkling iced tea that contains both THC and CBD at 10 mg each, which I think just sounds like a perfect sunny afternoon treat. For those who want something specific they have a range of teas labelled for particular issues. For example they sell muscle pain tea, sleep tea, pain relief tea etc. Everything is completely vegan friendly and I think it is definitely one of the most varied tea companies.

Rokit Health

Among the many quick and easy to use beverage options provided by this company is their CBD range. I say range, it’s just two options, but they come extremely highly recommended. If you already have a pod machine at your work at home it will very likely be compatible with Rokit pods. Usually, I would never recommend anything as wasteful as pods, but these are completely compostable. Each pod contains 5mg of CBD and no THC. They sell a matcha tea pod and a coffee pod, which is perfect for those extremely stressful mornings. If you get super into their stuff they do sell pod machines but they say that everything is Nespresso compatible. They are also a UK company.

Euphoria Cannabis Tea

Euphoria is another UK cannabis tea that is made with hemp leaves. It comes in tea bags, which is convenient, and there are no other blended tea leaves in the bag, just the cannabis leaves. This tea isn’t flavoured or mixed so it is perfect for anyone who just loved the taste of straight-up cannabis tea. There is 2.5mg of CBD in each bag, and a pack is only £10 for 20 tea bags. They are extremely popular for their super soothing effect, perfect for a work break or the end of a long day. They are flavorful so those who love their tea in a very certain way should keep an eye on steeping etc to get the perfect cup.

Cannabis teas are a great choice for anyone who wants something more medicinal or gentle and just doesn’t like to smoke or vape. Of course, you can also make your own cannabis tea and we will be putting up a recipe in the not too distant future.
