Resin Seeds is a Spanish brand that started life in 2008 at the hands of a man named Jamie. Jamie already had many years’ experience at this point having opened his first shop in 1998, since then he had been cultivating his knowledge, helping out with many other shop projects and even speaking at a few grow seminars. This brand has many fine strains to offer but the project that they are the most passionate about are their medicinal strains. They have managed to create a strain that is very well respected in its field, a strain of medical marijuana that boasts a higher level of CBD than THC. This means that the healing and pain relief factors are far more prominent than the psychological effects of the THC. Patients can now experience a high level of relief without their ability to focus and function in day to day life being affected. Resin seeds come in many forms; this includes the classic regular seed.
Regular seeds are often used by old school traditionalists. They are what they say on the tin, normal seeds. They produce a roughly equal split of male and female plants however this can occasionally waver in favour of the female plants.
In many ways these are preferable to the genetically altered plants in that they can, if preferred, be left to their own devices in the wild.
Many people use regular seeds in attempts to reintroduce cannabis to its natural habitat where they will receive the correct light balance and climate to cause them to flower and, since there is a mix of male and female, they pollinate themselves and produce seeds that then grow on their own.
However using regular seeds in a controlled crop also means that the best plants can be chosen as the parent plants in order to stop any genetic weaknesses from passing on to the next crop.
Please remember that the growing of cannabis plants and the cultivation of seeds is illegal in some countries – please check the laws of your country and don’t be growing any plants if it is against your country’s laws.
