Kaliman Seeds was started up many years ago by a gentleman known as Rockster. Rockster was and is somewhat of a Cheese enthusiast and for many years in the 80s he was very disappointed with the Cheese clones that were readily available on the market. So he set out to create the perfect Cheese clone and, in 1989, he did it. He had created, and then manufactured into a stable seed, a Cheese clone that was completely impossible to tell from the original plant. Now, many years later, he has cultivated a wide range of hybrids, as well as the original Cheese #1, and has used his many years of breeder knowledge and experience to create a top quality product. These seeds come in many forms, one of which is regular.
The regular seed is the original, the old school seed with no genetic alterations or faffing around. They are simply seeds that will produce a certain ratio of males to females, usually roughly equal, that require certain amounts of sunlight and love in order to blossom into a beautiful crop. Many growers prefer this approach, being completely in control of their crop and tending to it as often as necessary to ensure perfection.
Another very important reason that many still use regular seeds is that it is considerably easier to harvest your own seeds for future crops. The pollinating process between a male and a female plant is significantly the most simple breeding form. Not only is it nice and simple but also means that the grower can select the real champions amongst their crop to be the parent plants, and since plants will take on the best traits of each parent, this is an excellent way to wean out any imperfections in your crops.
Whether you be an experienced grower or a novice, Kaliman Seeds will certainly have something for you in their extensive catalogue of hybrids and originals, not to mention their excellent growing guide for those who haven't quite found their feet yet or even those who want to explore other avenues when considering their growing style. They really have everything that you could need as a grower.
