John Doe is so named because the genetic heritage of the male G13, used to pollinate the female Strawberry Sour Diesel, is rather unclear. The flavour profile of this hybrid is very medicinal in nature and includes a creamy edge of mint and eucalyptus.
John Doe is 60 percent sativa and can grow into a large plant that needs lower leaves to be pruned in order to keep air circulation free and thus prevent potential mould problems. John Doe is ready to harvest in about 10 weeks, but more patient growers will let her go another week or so for extra heavy yields.
It is much more suited to warmer outdoor climates as it will not be ready to harvest until October in the northern hemisphere.
