This Early Skunk strain is extremely reliable and gives consistently excellent results. In fact Early Skunk has been described as one of the finest strains available.
Like the original Early Skunk strain the plants produced are vibrant, tough and very fast growing. It is so hardy that is can produce impressive buds in virtually any environment.
This strain combines the bulky, vigorous nature of Skunk #1 and the hardiness of Early Pearl. Early Pearl is also a rather fast flowering plant so its genetic material shortens the flowering time of the plant.
The strain is extremely resistant to mould or fungus which makes it ideal for outdoor growing. The strain is also extremely reliable and creates very uniform plants.
It is also extremely potent, highly productive and easy to grow. The flowers of this plant are large and resin encrusted, this comes from the Sativa side of the strain which also gives the plant a smooth and uplifting effect.
This Early Skunk strain is feminised which means that it will only grow into female plants. Female plants are the productive plants in a crop, the males are only used for their pollen in the breeding process.
However, female plants can replace the male plants in breeding, however this particular breeding process is a little more complex.
Female plants, if treated in the right way, can produce a feminised pollen which works in much the same way as the male pollen.
It is used to fertilise another female plant and the resulting seeds will be feminised. For those who are not interested in cultivating their own crops feminised seeds are ideal.
They remove the issues which the male plants usually cause such as wasting time, space and money.
Using feminised plants means that a grower can grow twice the number of female plants at once since no crop space is wasted on males. They also mean that a grower won't waste money on male plants which will simply be removed.
Removing the males at the start of the flowering period is also an unnecessary waste of time which does not exist with feminised seeds.
Early Skunk is very hardy and can easily be grown indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse, this makes its perfect for all types of grower and breeder. The yield of the plant can reach up to 450 - 550 g/m2, it reaches a height of around 200 cm and should be harvested in September.
