Loud Seeds was started in 2007 by James Loud and Mike Seeds. The breeding duo have been working together since 2001 and have each individually been working in the breeding game for over two decades. James Loud is more interested in the genetics of the seeds. For a long time he has been playing around with Californian genetics in an attempt to improve their quality. Mike Seeds is the entrepreneur of the group and has opened and owned seed banks all over California for over ten years. Together they have won a number of awards for their superior produce. Loud Seeds first became an official European company when they won the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2012. A year later they set up a seed bank in Barcelona in order to share their seeds with a whole new cannabis community. Even though they focus on one main genetic strain they supply a good variety of strains and seed types. They sell seeds in feminised, autoflowering, and regular forms.
Feminised seeds have been genetically altered to only grow into female plants making the seed a far easier grow and generally much more user-friendly variation. Most growers have no use for, or interest in male plants, as they are not needed when simply growing the strain of that seed alone. Were a grower to use a regular seed, the extra males would then end up needing to be disposed of, causing a lot of time, money and resources to be wasted. Whereas, if a more experienced breeder were looking to create another crop from a feminised seed, it can be done using only the females. The process may be more complicated, but it does mean that the resulting offspring are much more uniform in quality, so the grower will have a better idea of the quality of crop produced. It is this aspect of money, time and space that makes feminised seeds so popular with so many growers. It is also true that most strains which have been altered in this way have shown marked improvement in their quality and stability as well as their yields.
Loud Seeds are committed to high quality and top notch customer service. It is hardly difficult to understand why they are one of the most popular seed banks in the market today.
