Kalashnikova is Greenhouse Seeds' own take on a world-famous genetic combo. It is a knockout sativa-indica cross between the iconic AK47 and the breeder's own version of White Widow. The similarities between Kalashnikova and White Russian are striking, which makes one wonder if the name has anything to do with that similarity.
The results of this project are incredible: plants with the strong structure and calyx formation of AK47 and the heavy resinous quality of White Widow. The effect is a solid one-two punch that starts with a walloping indica stone that settles into a comfortable, long-lasting high.
The plants grow very branchy and express with multiple flower sites. They finish after only about 8 weeks and are suitable for cultivation in any environment.
The plants don't grow excessively tall so growing indoors and using methods like SOG or ScrOG should not be a problem. They also do well in potting setups with good pH balanced soil and a steady diet of nutrients.
When growing Kalashnikova outdoors, growers should plan harvest by late September if growing in the Northern hemisphere. Planting in May is ideal as this gives the plants a majority of warm summer days to reach the height of their powers and seedlings can be transplanted early without risk of exposure to frost.
These feminised seeds make a great choice for growers who are new to cannabis cultivation since they are easy to handle and require only very basic maintenance for best results. Aggressive pruning will not increase bud production considerably so the seeds are also good for growers who prefer a "throw and grow" crop that doesn't require an excess of attention to produce well.
