This delightful and exotic hybrid received its moniker from its varied and far travelled genetic make-up. It has been created from a mixture of plants which have come from all over the world.
There are some rare and fascinating strains which have been bred together in one of the most unique ways imaginable and it is unlikely that there is another strain with the same sort of genetic variety.
The strains which have been brought together are New Guinea Gold which comes from the highlands of Papua, an amazing descendent of Columbian Red from South America and a resilient Afghani strain which was brought from the most northern point of the Hindu Kush.
In fact the preferred name for the strain is a Tajik Indica. The exotic nature of the plant certainly comes through in its scents and flavours which are spicy yet sweet. This wonderful strain is also feminised in order to make it just a little more user-friendly.
Feminised seeds have been extremely popular for a long time now as they are by far the easiest method of growing for those who do not wish to breed their own crops. For growers male plants are a nuisance and a hindrance.
They take up valuable space that could be better used on productive female plants. Using regular seeds also means that a grower would spend twice as much on the same number of female plants.
Male plants can actually damage or unwontedly fertilise the females in the crop, and so they need to be removed at the start of the flowering time. This removal of the male plants is a waste of time and energy.
As if all of these reasons were not enough feminised plants are actually likely to be of a better quality than regular plants. The way in which feminised seeds are made is an interesting one.
Essentially a female plant is capable of producing pollen if she is properly treated. This pollen is called feminised pollen and can be used to fertilise another female. The fact that only female genetics will be passed on means that the seeds can only grow into female plants.
This breeding method is highly difficult and should only be attempted by experienced growers.
This strain is exceedingly versatile and can be grown indoors, outdoors, or in a greenhouse, and it's flowering time is around 55 - 70 days.
Please remember that the growing of cannabis plants and the cultivation of seeds is illegal in some countries - please check the laws of your country and don't be growing any plants if it is against your country's laws.
