This dainty and gorgeous plant is a cross of White Widow and Skunk/Northern Lights, all extremely popular and well known strains. The strain is Indica dominant but still has some strong Sativa characteristics. White Widow has often been called one of the most popular strains ever to be sold to the pubic. It was first bred in the Netherlands and has been on every Dutch Coffee shop menu since the 1990s. The White Widow genetics have been passed on to a number of popular strains such as White Russian, White Rhino and Blue Widow. Skunk and Northern Lights essentially speak for themselves as they have also made up the genetic material of many a popular strain. They are essentially the base for most of the strains on the modern cannabis market. Dame Blanche is the most recent strain to be born from White genetics. She is resilient, reliable and large as well as being extremely fast flowering.
Dame Blanch comes in feminised form making it a user-friendly and easy to grow strain. Feminised seeds simply will not grow into male plants. When this method of breeding first hit the cannabis community it took off like a rocket. For too long growers everywhere have had to deal with the wasters of time, money, and energy that are male plants. Male plants usually have to be removed at the start of the flowering period in case they damage the female plants in anyway. This is not exactly a difficult process but it is time consuming and irritating. Using feminised seeds means that the grower need only buy as many seeds as the desired number of female plants as opposed to twice as many. Male plants also take up space in a crop which could be much better used by female plants. Finally feminised seeds have a higher recorded level of both uniformity and quality. The method by which feminised seeds are created is a fascinating one. Essentially the female plant is pressured in such a way that she releases a feminised pollen. The pollen released by the female is very similar to that of the male and can be used in the same way. It fertilises the female plant and the resulting seeds contain only female genes. This process is rather difficult and should only be attempted by expert breeders.
This strain can be grown indoors, outdoors, or in a greenhouse which makes it an extremely accessible strain which is easy to grow, its flowering time is just 50- 60 days.
Please remember that the growing of cannabis plants and the cultivation of seeds is illegal in some countries - please check the laws of your country and don't be growing any plants if it is against your country's laws.
