The Amnesia Seed by Dinafem is an extremely popular strain that has already won several awards and has been given the illustrious title of one of the top strains which is favoured by Dutch coffee shops.
The strain was in fact created by a breeder in Holland, is a cross between Northern Lights and Haze, and has been a consistent best seller year after year.
All popular strains will eventually be genetically altered in a manner that makes them more user friendly. One of the most popular genetic modifications being the creation of feminised seeds which means that the seeds will only produce female plants.
Many breeders prefer to use only feminised seeds since male plants are of little to no use, unless the breeder intends on breeding their own crop. Even then there is a way in which female plants can be manipulated into producing the pollen necessary for fertilization. This can be a far more complex process than purely using male plants but the crop yielded by all female breeding is likely to have a far superior genetic structure, and will find it easier to carry on only the most positive aspects of the parent plant.
Since feminised seeds only produce female plants a breeder can save and therefore utilise a lot of space that would otherwise be taken over by the useless male plants. It is easy to understand why some of the more popular strains are bread as feminised seeds.
This strain is recorded to have a rather intense effect and in some cases can cause a user to pass out; therefore it must be treated with a sense of respect and care. It is also famous for being a sativa breed that, strangely enough, grows exactly like an indica. This means that it grows to an easily manageable height and is extremely productive whilst maintaining its impressive strength, especially if it is bred organically.
Please remember that the growing of cannabis plants and the cultivation of seeds is illegal in some countries - please check the laws of your country and don't be growing any plants if it is against your country's laws.
