Early Widow is a mostly-indica strain from Spain's premier cannabis breeder, Advanced Seeds. The buds it produces are exceptionally resinous and the plants themselves are smaller than earlier generations of its parent strain: White Widow.
The aroma and flavour profiles compliment each-other nicely with distinct notes of sour and sweet. The smell becomes stronger as the plants mature but is very pleasant. That said, it still has very distinct cannabis qualities to the aroma so discretion while growing is a must.
The plants develop at the same rate indoors or outdoors with only slight variations in size between indoor- and outdoor-grown specimens. They can be left to grow for as long as an additional four weeks which will increase bud production and quality considerably.
Indoor growers will love the compact structure of these plants that makes them easy to grow in a variety of setups, both soil and hydro. SOG growers will appreciate the size of these plants in particular. They are also great for growing in closets and on balconies. This is a great strain for novice growers since it doesn't require a lot of fuss to grow and produce well.
These plants take well to growing outdoors as well. They are exceptionally hardy and resilient and stand up well to fluctuating weather conditions. As long as they are brought in before widespread frost, Early Widow plants will be just fine outdoors. Flower time is 7-8 weeks on average and harvest should typically be completed by mid October in the northern hemisphere.
THC content is high, it is a potent but not necessarily couch-locking indica. The effect is more dependent on the user than it is on the strain. The effect is all indica leaving the head full and the body relaxed.
