Royal Queen Seeds Quick One Feminised Automatic seeds are a strain where everything a grower needs to know is in its name. Canadian genetics crossed with Ruderalis means that this plant is autoflowering, requires very little attention, and is ready in just 8 weeks. It was one of the first autoflowering strains to be developed and had a quick rise to fame, surely a testament to its reliability. Quick One is Indica dominant with a medium THC content, and its Indica traits can be seen in that it will not usually grow to above 60cm, which is perfect for the more discreet growers around. In spite of its short stature it will still produce an indoor yield of around 250-300gr m2 and an outdoor yield of 100-150gr per plant. This is really one of the easiest plant around.
As stated before part of the reason why Quick One is so quick is because it is automatic which means that the plant will flower automatically after a certain time, extremely useful for more novice growers. Something which is even more helpful to growing amateurs is the fact that Royal Queen Seeds Quick One is also feminised. With regular seeds there is usually a 50/50 ratio of males and females, but in reality it is only the females which are useful as they are the gender which is cultivated. When seeds are feminised there is an almost 100% chance that all of the seeds will be female, which eliminates any confusion which might arise for growers who are not so familiar with which seeds are male and which seeds are female. The only reason why the males may come in handy is if a grower had the desire to breed their own future crop by choosing the best parents plants, and this is because it is the males which produce the pollen necessary for reproduction. If a novice wishes to do this using the males is the best way, but for the more advanced growers it is possible to manipulate the females into giving off this pollen, which will even result in a crop that has a greater level of genetic uniformity.
Quick One is not just a fast-growing automatic cannabis strain; it is also one of the earliest autoflowering varieties ever developed. Back when it was originally released, it was also one of the fastest growing strains available anywhere in the world.
This strain is based on Lowryder, known the world over as the premier commercial autoflowering cannabis strain. Lowryder is the product of a cross between Northern Lights and Williams Wonder with the inclusion of Ruderalis genetics for autoflowering capability. It is these genetics which have been the foundation of nearly every autoflowering strain available today.
These seeds are 100 percent feminized. They grow into hardy, female plants that flower automatically. They are ready for harvest after about 8 weeks on average. Some plants can take an extra week or so to fully mature, but either way, that is exceptionally fast in comparison to other strains, many of which can take far longer to finish.
Quick One grows small and compact. Even the tallest plants will not exceed 2 feet. In the right hands, it can yield as much as 45 g per plant. Some growers report that they can get even more using specific growing methods and with proper maintenance. This strain is unique among autoflowering varieties in that while it is very easy to grow, novice growers will likely not have as much success with it as those with a little experience will. The size of the plants is very conducive to cultivating via Sea of Green or other specialised growing methods.
The plants develop a fresh, sour, citrusy aroma as they mature. They have a flavour that is mild and pleasant and provides the user with a moderately heady stone. It may not couch-lock you but it is rather conducive to napping.
