Female Seeds is a brand that has been perfecting the feminised seed since 2003. Around this time feminised seeds were new on the market and very unstable and so Female Seeds set to work to produce a top quality, reliable feminised seed brand.

The head breeder, Ferry, has been working since the early 90s with regular seeds and he quickly became a huge legal supplier to Dutch seed banks. All this when he was still a student. In laymen’s terms Auto Flowering seeds really do what it says on the tin, they simply flower of their own volition without any help from lighting schedules etc. They do not go through the vegetative state which most other strains do which is useful for many different reasons.

First of all it is extremely space efficient; there is no need to have separate areas for the vegetative and flowering stages because they do not experience the vegetative stage. They can be kept short in stature for stealth growing without compromising the integrity of the plant. They do not need to be grown in any specific environment in order to flower or indeed survive. There is no need to wait until the autumn months to begin growing.

That is just one of their many time saving attributes; usually auto flowering plants can be harvested in just about 10 weeks, some even as short as 7. Since they are feminised you don't have to worry about the pesky male plants taking up time and space if you find them unnecessary.  In general they are one of the most user-friendly seed types on the market today.
