This version of the iconic Cheese is an indica/sativa mix developed by Dinafem. Its THC concentration is moderate, making it a pleasurable, yet not overwhelming indica/sativa blend. The end product has a distinctly berry flavour that is in interesting contrast with the way it smells.
As an enduring and very much sought-after strain, Cheese has an interesting history. Back in the 1980s, it was stumbled upon quite accidentally. A group of cannabis growers cultivated what turned out to be a rare Skunk #1 phenotype which was found to possess characteristics that were most certainly unique. It gave off an aroma that was so strange it was truly unlike anything any of its growers had seen in any specimen before it. The plant literally smelled of provolone cheese. It also produced exceptionally large buds, especially by Skunk #1 standards. Fearing that it would never be replicated any other way, the growers smartly began cutting clones to preserve the genetics.
Cheese has been used in countless hybridization projects and is known all over the world for its unique traits. For many years, one could only obtain a specimen in clone form, but through the cooperative efforts of many cannabis growers over the years, Dinafem is able to offer their own version of Cheese that can be grown from seed.
Creating an auto-feminised version required using male Afghani genetics. Crossing it with an original Cheese clone has allowed breeders to obtain seeds and also develop this exceptionally easy-to-grow auto-flowering variety. Dinafem's version is very stable and boasts an impressively high germination rate. It features the best of its iconic parent strain, but with a drastically reduced flowering time of about 10 weeks on average.
Cheese Auto-Feminised seeds are virtually effortless to cultivate, and they respond well to any indoor or outdoor growing environment. Outdoor growers should harvest late October through early November when growing in the Northern hemisphere.
Please remember that the growing of cannabis plants and the cultivation of seeds is illegal in some countries - please check the laws of your country and don't be growing any plants if it is against your country's laws.
