What is the Cannabis Cup?
Each year in Amsterdam, a very special event has been taking place since the late 1980s: Over the years, it has grown in popularity and fame, with thousands of visitors participating each year to check out the latest hot new strains, enjoy live music, comedy and arts acts, attend seminars and, of course, avidly watch as cup-winning strains are unveiled across a number of categories!
The Cannabis Cup is known worldwide as the epicentre of the weed-seeds world, where new hot-shot breeders and legendary champions of the past gather to unveil their very best strains;
At the festival, judge’s passes can be purchased which allow visitors to vote on their favourite new seed strains, booths and products across a number of categories.
The cup continues to grow in popularity, with ever-increasing numbers of visitors attending each year: In some cases, there have been literally thousands of judges participating in a single festival!
